Foley Park Amenities Block

In conjunction with the City of Sydney design team and designed by Stanic Harding Architecture + Interiors, the traditional brick public toilet has been brought into the 21st century. With the selection of Mowbray Blue Splits from the PGH Bricks Dry Pressed Architectural range - due to their durability, robustness, and modern appeal - these low-profile bricks were the perfect complement to the small scale nature of the project, with its stack bond pattern helping to accentuate the rectilinear form of the building. From the ramp side, the amenities block presents as a masonry and steel structure, and as a timber-screened building from the park—looking right at home in the park's natural surrounding.
